Course Description:
How many times have you suffered through a slideshow presentation during which the presenter read text on the slides to the audience? Painful, right? Break free from the linear slideshow format!
Prezi.com is a free web-based presentation design tool that allows placement of text, graphics and other elements on a blank ‘canvas’. The presenter then runs the show so that it appears like a camera lens zooming, panning and rotating around the canvas to highlight detail or provide a big picture view of the subject.
Prezi can be downloaded, presented remotely live, embedded in a website, or shared via the URL. There is no software to download or install. You will also learn the best practices for creating presentations using any software. This class is well-suited for business people, teachers, students, or anyone else who creates presentations.
